Keith Griffiths, Partner

Keith has 30 years of writing, publishing, marketing and trade show experience, including the start-up of Jems Communications in 1980, where as president he helped lead the creation of multiple trade magazines, research journals, trade shows, newsletters, books, videos, and on-line resources for the emergency care market. With his partner, the late Jim Page, Keith arranged the sale of Jems in 1993 to the Times Mirror Corporation and continued to head the Jems Division for Times Mirror for the next four years.
He left to form his own consulting organization in 1997 and continues to serve as a contributing editor for JEMS, the Journal of Emergency Medical Services. He serves as the Chair of the Alliance Committee on the College of Fellows for the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch, which has been a consulting client for the past 9 years, and is on the Board of Directors for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation. He serves on the advisory boards of several national organizations, including Take Heart America, EPIC Medic, and the National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue. He was recently named to be chair of the James O. Page Foundation.
Keith received a Presidential nomination to the US Naval Academy, which he attended for two years. He has a BA degree in journalism from San Diego State University where he later studied marketing, advertising, accounting and management as a graduate student in its MBA program. He has been a frequent speaker at the Folio Magazine Publishing Seminars and is on the Board of Directors for the Western Publications Association, the leading organization for magazine publishers in the western states.
Jeff Lucia, Partner

Jeff uses a process-oriented approach, refined through 17 years of senior-level experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets, to help clients create or refine systems and campaigns that identify and meet their top needs. He has held such positions as managing editor at Shape magazine and executive editor at Men's Fitness, where he received recognition for his 100+ media appearances. He served as online editorial director for Weider Publications Inc. (WPI), where he helped lead the extension of the company's seven brands onto the Internet.
Jeff's background in public safety runs deep. He began his emergency services career at an ambulance service in upstate New York while attending college, earning certification as a nationally registered paramedic, EMS dispatcher, emergency driving instructor, paramedic preceptor, CPR instructor and Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor. He has served as a paramedic with a variety of respected EMS systems in New York, Massachusetts and California and has held top editorial positions at JEMS, The Journal of Emergency Medical Services, Rescue Magazine, and the JEMS and FireRescue eNews e-mail newsletters.
As a key member of the RedFlash team, Jeff oversees all creative projects, working with clients to align creative goals with organizational goals at the strategic level to create marketing initiatives that bring results. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the James O. Page Charitable Foundation. Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Jacob O. Knight, Partner

Jake has been involved in communications-related finance and accounting since 1993. He has advised dozens of organizations in various aspects of business operations, including mergers, acquisitions and valuations; business plans; start-up analysis; and strategic planning. He has held senior management positions including CFO, VP of publishing and interim publisher at E-X, Inc., and led integrated sales initiatives across traditional and new media platforms.
Jake’s background in finance and marketing helps RedFlash clients determine marketing impact on such key measures as message reach and overall organization profitability. These measures assist clients with identifying effective budgeting and spending levels and with developing specific marketing assets, such as conferences, websites, or marketing campaigns. He focuses on preplanning, research and intelligence in the areas of customer acquisition, customer retention, competition, pricing, and monitoring and measuring results. When necessary, Jake works with directly with clients to develop budgets and processes to monitor and measure marketing outcomes.
He is a graduate of Long Beach State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. He was formerly a partner at World Oceans Media, LLC.
Lindsay Richey, Account Manager

Lindsay has worked in publishing, marketing and events since 2002. As the Account Manager for the RedFlash Group, she works closely with the partners to develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the unique and changing needs of our clients. She acts as a main point of contact to clients and coordinates efforts among internal and external resources. Using a variety of project management systems, she ensures that all projects are compliant with goals, deadlines and budgets.
Before joining the RedFlash Group in 2006, Lindsay worked in publishing where she organized and implemented special events, designed promotional sales campaigns and wrote and edited a monthly newsletter sent to 600+ professionals.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University where she majored in Public Administration and minored in Communication Studies.
Robyn Thiele, Creative Services Coordinator

Robyn brings both project management and creative skills to her position as Creative Services Coordinator at the RedFlash Group. From press releases to press checks, she is responsible for coordinating a wide variety of projects. Working with an extensive network of designers and printers, Robyn ensures that all print related needs are delivered on time and to specification. Her additional strengths include copywriting and copyediting.
Robyn’s past experience includes working as an Account Executive at a San Diego-based advertising agency, where she managed client accounts and projects. Robyn’s published design work can be found in publications ranging from music and entertainment to healthcare and emergency medical services. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the Art Institute of California-San Diego, with continued coursework at the University of California, San Diego.
